Summer Trips 2011

I learned long ago that we're all very busy all of the time--unless you're incarcerated or something.  But past that little annoyance of modern life--that of feeling like the To Do List adds things in the night, or that feeling that a young mother has that she's being pecked to death by ducks and endless questions, or that a surge of extra tasks that keeps her from even writing on that To Do list--we did do some different things that kept us occupied for 11 days of being away from the blog: we actually went on vacation.  A domestic vacation.  So here we are standing in front of a valley in Yellowstone National Park.

Here we are again.
The first place we went to was a family reunion for three days (of fun and serious crazy).  Then we went to Yellowstone National Park for three days (of beauty and wonder and a wifi-and-cellphone-free zone), then three days of being with family again.  I will be posting some of these experiences on the blog, but since I'm busy right now with getting stuff ready for school--and climbing Mt. Laundry--it won't necessarily be too timely.  Some family things I'll post here--other things I'll post on the occasionalpiece.blogspot blog.
