The Anselmo lovelies are still here and on Thursday, the first stop was Aunt Kristen's Music Makers group. A
clutch of mothers and their rambunctious
pre-
schoolers gather together to sing and dance and play, have a story and a snack. I had a great time, and was happy to note that many of these young moms were yawning as they hopped around to the music. I guess they get tired too!

The
lalala song was one of my favorites, and involved using a puppet.

Mosh pit, kid-style. Just kidding. This is the beach blanket song.

| Then we all went to In and Out Burger for lunch. Alex did his stickers.

| I've got the bag of cookies! |

Naps were next, which consisted of Grandma falling asleep on the sofa, Alex and Emilee playing musical instruments, Kristen arranging for a move for someone she visit teaches, and Andrew and Megan having a nice chat. We gave up and went to Crate and Barrel, then home again.
Swimming sounded like just the thing, so we loaded up the little red wagon and walked over to the kiddie pool.

He seems to be saying, "I'm cold and hungry and time to go home." I laughed when Emilee referred to "
Alexandrew," combining both the boys' names.

Back in the wagon!

After a yummy dinner of pizza, cooked by Dad, Alex tied on his Super Hero Cape (made by his mother) and jumped off the ledge, onto the sofa.

His cape has his name on the back.

Andrew was determined to get on the bike helmet.
I'm incredibly grateful to Kristen, who made the whole day go so smoothly. Thank you, Kristen!
After waiting out traffic, we headed home. After two episodes of Backyard-agins that played on the DVD player their dad had installed in our car, Emilee and Megan fell asleep.
The next morning, their mom and dad arrived and by 10-ish they were on their way back to their home. Miss you, girls! (It's so quiet around here.)
