Barbara's Visit May 2010, last post

We started out this day realizing that Google was celebrating the anniversary of the video game of PacMan, and then realizing that it was an actual bit of a game that could be played. Like a magnet to a fridge, Riley was on it. I think he's going to grow up and take after his relative Tim, who works with that industry (Riley will be calling on you in about 20 years, Tim, for a job).
Keagan decides to make something out of the buttons in my button box.
A necklace, which she gave to me. I wore it to church on Sunday and got lots of compliments.
That night, I finally got a shot of myself with my granddaughters--very nice. Now they know I exist.
We'd found Peter's old Game Boy in the closet and resurrected it for Riley to use. He referred to as his "DS," a current version of hand-held video game (I guess), and pretty much wouldn't give it up after that.
Saturday was a special day... it was the day Keagan set up her lemonade stand. Miss Maddy found the masking tape and was bringing up to me in the garage.
Keagan's first customer.
Barbara brought out a plate of Creamsicle cookies to add to the lemonade, which Maddy enjoyed.
And this is the last photo of their time here. Saturday night Barbara had two kids up in the night, so Sunday after church, she, Riley and Maddy took a nap. When Riley awoke feeling all feverish and hot, Barbara looked at me and said, "Can we be out of here. . . in minutes?" And she was--in forty minutes. We miss you! The house is quiet! Come any time!
