Some of these shots were taken on a bus ride up the canyon, others were from camp, and Dave also took a few when he went on a bike ride up to Gateway to the Narrows.

From my vantage point of relaxing at camp, I watched all the family head off on their hikes.

The Narrows runs through the park, and behind some of our campsites. We took advantage of this.

Emily decided to splash her Mom, grinning and giggling the whole while.

A lot of work went into building the rocky Darn. We were informed it wasn't a dam because it didn't stretch all the way across the river.

So we decided this teensy one, built by the little kids, was called a Dang It.

The next morning, the river was muddy, swift and high from all the evening's rains up the canyon, obliterating all our work and fun.
