Part of the reason for our trip to Utah was to see our second grandchild, Emilee, baptized. Because Kim and Matthew were moving to North Carolina and had left their house in Arizona, they had arranged to have the baptism at her sister's ward.
They did it an interesting way: every family had a room, with their own program, then took turns filing down the hall to the baptismal font.
Emilee with her great-grandparents (my parents), before the baptism.

And then we took some candid photos outside after it was over.
The whole family.
Just the girls. Kim and her side of the family had prepared a nice series of things to nibble on afterwards, with a lovely decorated cake, done by Emilee's Grandmother Karen (Kim's mother). Then Dave and I changed clothes, hopped in the car and drove towards home. Home in California, that is.
