Andrew & Alex Visit Grandma

Conference weekend, Grandpa and Grandma invited Alexander and Andrew overnight for a visit. First stop: the neighborhood park.
Andrew explores the equipment.
And heads down the slide.
He's an old hand at this, as his mother Kristen takes them to the park often.
Alex decides head first is for him.
The swings, Grandma! No, push from behind!
Alex and Andrew met a friend, who shared his trike with them.
We came home, and Maya, the little girl who lives across the street, was playing ball on our garage with a couple of friends. They invite Alex to play with them.
Andrew keeps busy by hitting the soccer ball down the driveway so Grandma can run and catch it.
Dinner: pasta and sauce. Alex mixes his own sauce into the pasta, and tells me he likes it "really saucy."
After dinner, baths and bed are the last order of the day.
The next morning: A family tradition is the grandchildren squeezing orange juice with Grandpa.
Andrew helps me tie up the cupboards. This was after some glassware found its way to the floor. Grandma had forgotten how quickly little explorers find things.
Waiting for Dad to come and see him, Andrew watches a movie. They went home that night. Come again!
