What’s an Matthew Anselmo Family blog entry without a weather update? Ok, it sucks. After living through a twenty-below winter our family was subjected to a 90-95 degree, very humid summer. If there is one thing Kim and I can agree upon, the weather here is ...well..words really can't capture our feelings. However, for the next two months we will not experience either extreme, but a pleasant cool breeze while the leaves change colors. This is the best time of the year for
The summer seemed to fly by and now fall is upon us. Megan and Emilee continue to grow and change; each demonstrating and developing specific personality traits and abilities. Emilee is an independent little girl with little regard for instruction or parental coaching. She is determined and enjoys activities more than books, but enjoys the time spent with her little friends the most. Megan is a charmer and is beginning to understand the power she wields with this action. However, her two year old disposition is beginning to shine (or actually cloud) through her actions.
Kim is heavily involved in her church calling as the enrichment coordinator. She is leading Super Saturday activities, service projects, and anything else the ward can throw on her plate. Kim recently joined me on a work trip in
For me, work and school continue to fall into place. I am entering the last semester of school, after finishing up a very challenging summer. I graduate in December (anybody want to make a trip to MN in December?), completing a three-year program in two-and-a-half. If everything goes as planned, I will be looking for a job change at the beginning of next year.
That’s about all from our family. Take care everyone and know you are missed!

Picture of Kim and Emilee at Minnehaha Creek Falls. This is about 15 minutes southeast of Minneapolis.
One of our family's favorite activities (at 99 cents a game one of the cheapest!). Megan will not bowl unless the ball is pink.

Weekend trip for Matt and Kim to Orlando. This is at Universal City Walk right outside of Universal Studios.

Emilee, our little amphibian, is taking a plunge down the slide (Emilee has no consideration for her own safety when it comes to water...hence the life jacket).

The largest annual event in Minneapolis is the state fair. This is Emilee and Megan riding the water dragon to their hearts' content.

Matt on his annual Baseball trip. This year Matt went to Fenway, Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, Citizens Bank Park, and Cooperstown (in five consecutive days).

Matt would like to issue a public apology to his brother-in-law Derek, in which comments about his riding lawn mower were made. He now understands why they are so cool (saves 1 1/2 hours and a lot of back pain).
