Washington DC • June 2011

I accompanied Dave last week to Washington, DC (he was on business) and saw some family: my sister Christine, Peter, Megan and Allie the Wonder Dog.

I wrote about what Christine and I did on my other blog, but here's a picture of us at the last moment, our faces a reflection in the glass pyramids by the Cascade Fountain at the National Gallery of Art. On Saturday morning, we headed up to Peter and Megan's (via the Metro) and they picked us up and took us to their house.  But first--a stop by where they work to take a look around.

We went to a really good Italian restaurant in Rockville, then they drove us to our hotel near the airport.  Of course, the visit wasn't long enough, but Peter helped me with my blog troubles, we visited with Megan, and Ally did tricks.  I miss them already.
