Christmas Lights

Back to Mom and Dad's  where Dave and I upgraded their computer to the latest OS, and got their iPads up and running.  We gave them basic instructions, and with some enthusiasm, they've adapted.

Using the new iPad.

The next day, we headed to Salt Lake City.  We stopped en route and picked up Matthew, then Mom and Dad called: we'd left some things at their home.  They agreed to bring them to us, and we all met at Trio for lunch.

A back-lit photo of us at lunch.

Ward & Child wreath: bay leaves coated with red automotive paint

The wreath on the door of Trio.

Brick-oven-baked flatbread, arranged in a star shape.

Dave's lunch was a Margherita-type pizza adorned with spinach leaves.

I had the roasted tomato soup and half a lemon-chicken salad.

We said goodbye to Mom and Dad, then walked Matthew over to the train station; he was taking the Frontrunner train up to Farmington to re-join his family.  We left him, did a little Christmas shopping, then headed over to Temple Square, as it had gotten dark and the lights were on.

Luminarias--after a sort.  These were plastic bag luminarias with electic lights, but lovely any way.

It was cold, with a light misty drizzle.  We had fun taking different shots of the lights.

The old Tabernacle organ, which adorns our hymnbooks.

The reflecting pond does what it's supposed to.
