Winter Is Over and Spring Is Upon Us.

Everyone,

After our two month absence it is time to re-acclimate ourselves with the Family Blog. Of the many happenings over the past little while the most notable (and always the main subject in Minnesota) is the changing of the seasons. We have exchanged snow for rain, and white layers of ice for dead brown surroundings (but like Hans Christian Anderson’s story about elitism, we are on the verge of transformation).

April is by far one of our favorite months. Between Kim and Matt’s birthdays, the beginning of spring, ending of a semester, and the beginning of baseball, every day presents a new memory in our families’ log. April is also a month where we do not slow our pace of activities. Emilee has started dance (though the first day was filled with more crying then dancing) and attends pre-school twice a week. Megan is entering the challenging twos, as her birthday is right around the corner. Matt is still chugging away at his MBA, with Economics and Ethics on his schedule at this juncture. Kim is scrapbooking up a storm driven by her early birthday present, a Cricut.

We are hoping the rest of our story can be told by the pictures below. We miss and love you all and hope to see you soon,

Sledding down the hill as a family. The day was actually really nice at 40 degrees.

One of our favorite places to hang out is the Children's Science Museum in St. Paul.

The kids are enjoying the rain. Love the boots!
