We drove out to Matthew's home on the first weekend in May to see Matt and Kim's daughter, Brooke, blessed. Barbara drove down from Flagstaff to join in, and Kim's parents, Doug and Karen, were also staying there. No worries--Matthew's house is very roomy, and Kim and Matthew both are great hosts.
Barbara and her look-alike daughter. When I walked in, I felt as if I were being transported back in time, as Madilyn looked just like Barbara did as this age (or at least as much as I remember). It was stunning.

I'd made aprons for all the girls. Riley joined in for fun. We celebrated Megan's and Riley's birthday while there--two little cupcakes for two little guys.
Keagan and Maddie and Grandma. It was hard to get pictures of Matthew's children because they are so busy. The whole weekend was really fun--with all those people, it was never a dull moment. Matthew and Kim (and Karen) had laid out a nice buffet luncheon after church and we visited for a while before jumping back in the car and driving 5 hours home across the desert.
The next weekend, Jessica and Tim and their son, came to visit us after a short trip to Disneyland. Jessica is Dave's niece.
