Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

In the Midwest, the final month of fall passes inviting chilly air which test our reflexes. The viscosity of our blood changes, as we await whatever the artic blast carries in its arsenal.

November was an exciting month full of holiday activities and visitations from family and friends. Early in the month we packed up the kids and drove a distant three hours to the Wisconsin wonder of the world, The Dells. Here the children could immerse themselves with aquatics while the parents snapped of digital reprints of the experience. The trip has become an annual tradition and enjoyed by all.

The following week Grandma and Grandpa Eastmond paid a special visit to cold country winning the hearts of their grandchildren. Emilee especially liked her new playmates and even volunteered to escort the engaging couple back to Riverside, “Can I go to Grandma’s house?” While they were in town we visited the St. Paul Children’s Museum, Minneapolis Art Museum, The Guthrie, Nicollette Street, University of St. Thomas, and even had a chance to pop into Ikea searching for a new bookshelf (finished the job later that week).

Thanksgiving was spent at home joined by three other couples from the ward. We volunteered our home (and pawned off the Turkey), and spent down time playing games and enjoying the company. The meal was delicious and provided us an excuse to break out the china (second time in four years).

The Anselmo’s are alive and kicking like the donkey of the Democratic Party. Christmas cards will be in production soon, sending a warm welcome to all those we love.

Although Matthew didn't upload any photos (Blogger was having a snit that weekend), Kim sent this photo out of the girls visiting Santa at Mall of America.
